Hi!  I'm Jen and I have had a passion for all things hair and makeup since my teens.  My working life began in customer service and it wasn't until a not-so-subtle push from my closest friends and relatives that I decided to pursue this passion as a career and I can honestly say I have not looked back since!

I kicked off my training at DFMA, London, where I studied hair and makeup for TV, Film and Theatre and from there, went on to Kristina Gasperas' Academy for a specialist Bridal Hair course with the renowned hairstylist Kasia Fortuna.  I have since enjoyed an amazing introduction into several, diverse avenues within the hair and makeup world including work with Sky TV and NETFLIX.  I have also had the pleasure of working as long-term personal makeup artist to actor Gemma Oaten and singer/songwriter Lydia Singer, with whom I have been lucky enough to travel half way across the world on her musical ventures!

My love for bridal hair and makeup has remained throughout my freelancing career.  Being with a bride and her loved ones on the morning of one of the biggest days of her life is a privilege and so I understand the importance of my role; making sure she is looking and feeling her best so she can put her most confident foot forward on her big day. 

 

In the run up to the wedding, I work with my clients to ensure their hair and makeup looks just as they'd imagined on the day.   Whether you are a bride who is completely new to the world of having their hair and makeup done or you're someone who knows exactly what they want and just need a professional to take the reins on the day, I'm there for you!

 

As my past brides will testify, I really do care about YOU on your wedding morning.  I pay attention to every detail to ensure you are camera-ready.  But aside from that, I am also the calming presence to your morning, quietly making sure that we are all on schedule, allowing you an enjoyable, stress-free, start to your day with plenty of time for you and your bridal party to relax and take in all the precious moments the morning has to offer, safe in the knowledge that everything is in hand!
